I love to shop at Wal-Mart but I always get slowed down by morbidly obese people on scooters...Those electric wheelchairs. They do NOT have disabilities or health problems....They are just plain fat...Why are they so lazy they can't walk? They slow me down when I am shopping!!!

I used to see older people that had a hard time walking using them but now I only see people of rotund proportions that are just too lazy to walk using them and it really bothers me. What about you?

well I think that they have a great difficulty getting around without the chair....even though they could use the exercise.
My aunt is one of those people and I used to think it was just dumb, but one time I saw how hard it was for her without the chair and I understood....

I always feel so annoyed (if they have no medical condition that made them obese), they clog up the health system and hospitals, all because more food goes in, than comes out!
Is it really so difficult to eat healthily and exercise?

And the whole 'I can't walk because I'm fat, so I will use electric wheelchairs.'
Somehow that doesn't make sense to me..

Is this just me being out of order, or do people agree with me?

When I was walking to class today two people with the wheelchairs ran me over on my foot. I was walking normally until they started to come towards me and I was trying to get away from them but they followed me and ran me over! And now my feet hurt so much and there's a big bruise on my right foot.
I was watching where I was going.

if not what other disabilities would qualify ?
what about undiagnosed disabilities?
what about someone who has physical problems like with moter skills or developmental delays witch doctors think may be from /an affect with epilepsy/non convulsive seizure disorder
like they know that's there is a problem and the symptoms but you don have a diagnoses

Special Olympics is for people with intellectual disabilities.

The Paralympic games are for people with physical disabilities.

I don't understand how you can have an undiagnosed disability. Maybe the cause is undiagnosed, but you either have a disability or you don't. No one says "I *might* not be able to walk, but I'm not sure."

I feel like I see many more folks driving around in electric wheelchairs or scooters here than I did in the Midwest or back east. Is this true? If so, why?
