I am wondering if anyone has a simple remedy for leg and hand cramps?

Question by snowmom: I am wondering if anyone has a simple remedy for leg and hand cramps?
I am a diabetic and also suffer from Lymphodema in the worse way, mainly my right side is groteusquely huge with edema and it hangs down below my knees. So often cramps and pain just keep me up all night and then some. I have become so unable to move around that now I use an electric wheelchair, most of the time. I'm not sure but I wonder if the inactivity is making all this cramping and pains. I really have no faith in any doctors any more too many quacks, who helped me get where I am. Sorry I'm just alittle bitter at times, I'm 53 and feel and act older than my 87 year old mother.
Oh yes I should have mentioned the edema makes movement very hard my last weight was 429#, sickening isn't it? it isn't food its lower body water that can't be removed.

Where to find machine guns in Dead Rising 2?

Question by Joey: Where to find machine guns in Dead Rising 2?
I want to build the Blitzkrieg (Machine guns + Wheelchair), but where do I find the machine gun? Where's it lying around?

Best answer:

Answer by Janaya
If you head to the Yucatan casino, in the middle of it there will be a big stand with gambling machines around it. If you jump up onto it and see a security guard with a shotgun then you know its the right stand. Jump your way up to the top and up there will be an LMG (Light Machine Gun) and a Zombrex. By the way the Blitzkrieg is (LMG/Merc Assault Rife + Electric Chair), the Electric Chair is (Wheelchair+Battery) You will find both of those in the music store in the Royal Flush Plaza.

How to sell medical equipment?

Question by Sandra: How to sell medical equipment?
I have some in home medical equipment that I need to get rid of. Mother-in-law passed away 2 months ago and the stuff is just sitting here and we were told there are places that will buy it. We have a bed(electric), wheelchair, walker, a lift, and a folding commode. The only things that have been used were the bed for about 3-4 weeks and the lift was used once. Everything else never got used. Anyone know where to sell it online aside from craigslist? Or in the Sacramento, Ca area? Thanks!

Best answer:

Will my weight stop me from riding the rides in Disney World?

Question by bmr: Will my weight stop me from riding the rides in Disney World?
My husband and I want to take our kids on a vacation to Disney World. The only problem is that I'm overweight (I weigh about 350 pounds). What I want to know is, am I too heavy to go on the rides in Disney World, and will I be able to fit comfortably in the rides? And also, will I be able to rent an electric scooter in the park, because I'm a little concerned about all the walking. Thanks for answering :)

Hmm...it really depends on where you live. If you live in a city, then you can probably find lots to do. If you're like me and live in the middle of the boonies where if you blink you will miss the town, well...I guess you could find a cow to milk...just kidding haha! That's probably how I'll spend my summer lol

Anyway, depending on where you live, you could go to the library, the mall, anywhere really. If you want to go to church, find out if someone from the church could take you. Most of the churches that I've known of have a church van that picks people up at their houses, your local churches might, too. They are big vans, and since not a lot of people go in them, your wheelchair could probably fit. I know my cousin's does, and it's a big electric wheelchair.

You could pick up a hobby - for example, learn an instrument, try art, learn a new language, something cool like that. Pottery comes to my mind for some reason. Maybe if you live in a big enough community, you could sign up for a summer class. My brother and I do that - last year, I got my CPR/AED training and took a German class, and my brother took a pottery class and an animal science class!

Of course, you can probably just spend most of the summer on the computer, but that's no fun, is it? Haha :) If you really can't find anything to do, you could learn stuff online, too. Live Mocha is a site where you can learn some languages for free (Or sign up for a tuition course if you want to). You can learn lots of instruments online, too. Of course, you can be like me and google whatever random topic comes to your mind, and go from there! I usually spend my summer showing rabbits in my region of PA, but that's just what I like to do! :)

Hope this helps! :)

Trading in and Upgrading my car?

Question by SARswimmer95: Trading in and Upgrading my car?
I just bought a used 2009 Toyota Matrix four months ago. It had about 27,000 miles on it. Since then, I have put less than 5,000 miles on it. So here's my dilema: My wife just got fitted for a new electric wheelchair, and we need more room! Is it acceptible to bring the car back and try and get an upgrade? We will be needing something bigger. Any help would be great!

Best answer:

Answer by just call me Buzz
There's noting wrong with ding that, but be prepared for your jaw to drop when you see your trade value. You will be offered 3 or 4 thousand less than you paid on trade in.

Here's some free advice.

Find a leftover 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, cheapest trim you can find.

With it being a leftover and being the end of the year, the rebates are god and the dealer will take out most of their profit as well.

This will soften the blow on the trade value and even though technically you will be losing that money, you will be making it back by getting a good deal on the van. So essentially it will just be like you paid retail for the van.

Can a process server intimidate and threaten to arrest when a subpoena was never served?

Question by Jameela A: Can a process server intimidate and threaten to arrest when a subpoena was never served?
I know the following may be considered legal advice but I need someone to please answer as best as they can. or to your best knowledge.

My cousin was murdered and I am being called to testify for her killer's defense as a character witness against her. The defense attorney kept constantly calling me for the past 2 years and I never answer the phone. He recently called and said a judge signed a subpoena in my name and I would be served in a few days. He called me the night before the trial that I need to show up in court the next morning or he'd ask for an arrest warrant.

I am disabled and wheelchair bound and and I have extreme psychiatric (anxiety) problems. Seriously when I freak out I rip my clothes off and run (sometimes into walls). I get very irrational. Nonetheless I don't have transportation to accommodate my 350lb electric wheelchair. I am 400 lbs and paralyzed on my right side. Anyways I told him I couldn't attend and would not because I was never served. He refused to tell me WHEN he would. The next morning I received a call by someone that said they were a Deputy Sheriff from that county saying the judge had just signed an arrest warrant and he was coming to get me but he wanted to hear my side of the story. He said the lawyer had proof I was served. I told him my story freaking out and sent my documentation and a letter for the judge (the number he gave me) saying I had yet to be served.

He said he was gonna speak to the judge on my behalf to convince him to drop the warrant. He told me he was "informing me" that I am being given until Wednesday to appear and I better show up. I ended up in the hospital yet again.

My personal nurse noted the Deputy called from a number not listed in the court directories, but the only way to contact him was the court itself calling him physically and he'd take over from that phone. Over the weekend she redialed the number he called me from and his voice-mail said he was a deputy process server.

My question is...
1. Can he really come arrest me? (I was never served)
2. Could he be a real Deputy? (my county says they never administrate anymore process server and they would have to be privately hired)
3. Since he said the attorney told the judge he had proof I was served even tho I never was, can the judge really issue an arrest warrant?
4. Is this harassment? If so, can I report them to adult protective services or check with police if what is happening true or not?

Ive been having severe anxiety over this and been hospitalized 2 times in the last two weeks (had to be restrained). Can I get arrested if I freak out in court?

I have yet to be subpoenaed. This is taking a toll on my health and I feel like the stress is going to make me severely ill.

Best answer:

Answer by The Great Quizoo
If a judge signed an arrest warrant, they can and probably wil arrest you. That's what arrest warrants do. The judge will only issue such a warran if he has a sworn affidavit from the process server that you were legally served.

You do NOT have the option of appearing or not appearing. If you wish the subpoena quashed, you have to get a lawyer who will appear before the judge to argue your case.

In other words: YOU NEED A LAWYER.

None.

http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=veh&group=12001-13000&file=12500-12527
----
12500. (a) A person may not drive a motor vehicle upon a highway, unless the person then holds a valid driver's license issued under this code....
----

You can use a Segway, an "electric personal assistive mobility device", 20 inches long by 25 inches wide, limited to 12.5 mph.

If you are disabled or senior, you can use a electric wheelchair.

Other than that, anything better than and including a "motorized scooter" (CVC407.5, a two-wheeled device that has handlebars, has a floorboard that is designed to be stood upon) such as a GoPed, DOES requires a driver's license.

Question by kevin: building a website to solicit donations to purchase electric wheelchair how to do it?
I had a stroke an need a mobility scooter to get out of the house. My only insurance is Medicaid an it will not cover it. I want to sit up a website to ask for donations to purchase one. I have limited computer knowledge thus I need advise on the cheapest, easiest way to set up the site and accept donations online from credit cards. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

First, I don't think a website is your answer... not at all. Second, because you have limited experience with computers. then you have a mountain to climb. The "Dummies" series books has a book on setting up a free web site
